VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil field facilities were a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically oil field brine (produced water), to the receiving waters of Dry Hollow Creek, located in Osage County, Oklahoma. The EPA observed the facilities had discharged brine during inspections conducted on August 26, 2005 and June 27, 2006.
RELIEF: The Class I Complaint proposes up to a $32,500 penalty for the violations. No SEP is offered to the Respondent to mitigate the penalty. A bottom line penalty of $10,000 is offered to the Respondent for settlement.
