This is a Federal Facilities Agreement between the United States Department of the Air Force, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9, and the State of California for the Mather Air Force Base Superfund Site in Sacramento County, California. Mather AFB is a federal facility that was placed on the NPL on July 22, 1987. Its primary mission was a flight training school. Mather AFB was decommisioned under the BRAC Act on September 30, 1993. The Site was divided into six Operable Units to facilitate cleanup. Primary pollutant of concern is TCE.
