This is a Federal Facility Compliance Agreement between the United States Department of the Air Force, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency concerning Castle Air Force Base, California. The Site has multiple contaminants (TCE, PCE, TPH, Gasoline). For purposes of cleanup, the site has utilized several remedies, and thus had multiple Records of Decision (ROD). The most recent ROD, known as the Castle Air Force Base Comprehenive Basewide ROD, summarizes all previous remedies selected in previous RODs; adds Institutional Control measures to the greoundwater cleanup remedies; and selects contigency actions for the groundwater remediation actions.
