This is an Administrative Order on Consent (AOC) (Settlement Agreement) for Removal Action pursuant to CERCLA Sections 104, 106(a), 107 and 122, issued to Cyprus Tohono Corporation. The agreement requires Cyprus to remove concentrated salts and tailings from evaporation ponds and impoundments at their mine site, to place these materials in a lined on-site repository, place a soil cover on affected areas, and revegetate. The agreement includes conservation measures for the Lesser Long-Nosed Bat, an endangered species, and also includes cost recovery provisions.
