This was one of numerous facilities inspected in the Binghamton, NY, area in fulfillment of the UST Compliance Act (USTCA) requirement to inspect all UST facilities which have not been inspected since Dec. 1998. The Inspector issued the facility Field Citation II-UST-FC-1045, in the amount of $600, for failure to provide cathodic protection for metal piping, and failure to provide overfill prevention system for an existing tank.
