This is an Administrative Order (AO) for compliance pursuant to CWA 405 issued to the City of Ridgecrest Wastewater Treatment Facility. The violation involves exceedence of molybdenum limits (40 CFR 503.13) in sewage sludge that was land applied. The Order directs Ridgecrest to identify the source of molybdenum and control it if feasible, as well as develop alternate sewage sludge disposal plans if molybdenum levels continue to exceed limits for land application.
