On Novenmber 29, EPA entered into an Administrative Order on Consent with PPL Corporation and UGI Utilities for their performance of a removal response action at the UGI Columgia Gas Plant Site. The estimated $1.99 million action includes the excavation and disposal of contaminated soils, the installation of concrete and asphalt caps, and the installation of four additional monitoring wells for the dissolved phase groundwater.
