Violation: Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants to waters of the US . EPA inspections conducted on December 4, 2006, and December 21, 2006, cited the unauthorized disharge of produced fluids (brine) from the facility to a tributary of Salt Creek.
Relief: A cease and desist Administrative Order is being issued to the respondent to cease all discharges; to remove the brine from the impacted water body; and, to construct a catchment structure to prevent any future discharges.
