Summary

On October 5, 2005, Clayton Block Company Inc. disclosed possible violations to the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)pursuant to EPA's Incentives for Self-Policing:Discovery, Dislosure, Correction and Prevention of Violations, 65 FR 19618, April 11,2000, commonly referred to as the Audit Policy in response to the Right-to Know inquiry letter from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). The disclosure indicated that Clayton Block Company Inc. facility located at 44078 South Broad, Hamilton Township (Yardville), New Jersey 08620 discovered that it had failed to file Form R reports in a timely manner for styrene and methyl methacrylate for calendar years 2000,2002 and 2003. The failure to submit form A or Form R report in a timely manner, constitutes a violation of Section 313 of EPCRA, 42U.S.C. Section 11023, and with 40 C.F.R. Section 372.30. EPA determined that Clayton Block met conditions for 75% penalty reduction under the Audit Policy.
