Violation: The Respondent's tank battery facility was a point source discharge of a pollutant to waters of the US. The Repondent operated a tank battery located at Northeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 6 North, Range 10 East, Hughes County, OK, and discharged brine to Hay Creek. The violation was cited during an EPA inspection conducted on February 15, 2007.
Relief: A Cease and Desist Administrative Order is being issued to the Repsondent to cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove the brine from the impacted water body; and, to provide to the EPA certification that provisions of this Order are carried out.
