REFERRAL FOR RECOVERY OF PAST COSTS.
On August 29, 2008, the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a civil enforcement action on behalf of EPA against Carlton B. Coen Land Company (in personam) and Property Parcels 02-06471 and 02-06478, addressed at 1900 19th Street, NE, Canton, Ohio (in rem) (collectively, the Defendants ) for alleged liability to the United States for reimbursed response costs incurred at the Rocket Oil Company Supefund Site in Canton, Ohio pursuant to Section 107(a) and (l) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, as amended (CERCLA), 42 U.S.C. Sections 9607(a) and (l)
