VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically produced water, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Clem Creek, located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 23 North, Range 11 East, Osage County, Oklahoma. An April 5, 2007, EPA inspection documented the discharge of brine from the facility.
RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent shall take the necessary steps to prevent future discharges by neutralizing or removing contaminated soils. The Order also recommends for the Respondent to reconstruct the secondary containment around the facility, and to install a sump pump in the lowest most area inside the secondary containment.
