VIOLATIONS: The RespondentÂs oil field facility was a Âpoint source Âdischarge of Âpollutants, specifically oil field brine (produced water), to the receiving waters of a tributary to Delaware Creek, Osage County, Oklahoma. The discharge of brine was documented during an inspection conducted on March 13, 2007.
RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should take steps to prevent all future discharges of pollutants, remove any brine from the creek, and remove or remediate any brine contaminated soils. A follow-up inspection will determine the extent of compliance with the Order.
