Violation: Respondent's oil field tank battery facility was a point source discharge of polltants to waters of the US . The violation was documented during an EPA inspection conducted on May 23, 2007. During the inspection the inspector observed brine had been discharged from the facility to a tributary of Cooper Creek.
Relief: A Cease and Desist Administrative Order (AO) is being issued to the Respondent to cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove the brine from the tributary; and submit written certification that the previous aforementioned tasks have been completed.
