This is a Civil Judicial Referral pursuant to CERCLA in which EPA requests that the Department of Justice bring an action against the Gwen Campbell Trust 1995, Gwen Campbell, individually and as trustee of the Gwen Campbell Trust 1995, the Phil Campbell and Diane Cote Family Trust, and Diane Cote, as trustee of the Phil Campbell and Diane Cote Family Trust, (all potentially responsible parties at the Waste Disposal Superfund Site). The Complaint will seek injunctive relief for performance of a portion of the remedial action, but will not seek payment of response costs because EPA has determined that these Defendants have no ability to pay. EPA and the PRPs have negotiated the terms of a consent decree and referred this consent decree to the Department of Justice.
