This is an administrative order on consent (AOC) pursuant to CERCLA issued to McClellan Business Park, LLC. The AOC requires RI/FS, remedial design, remedial action and operation and maintenance for a 62-acre portion of the former McClellan Air Force Base. The Respondent represents that it is a bona fide prospective purchaser. The Air Force will be transferring the property to Sacramento County under early transfer authority and will enter into an environmental services cooperative agreement with Sacramento County, providing the County with $11.2 million to implement the cleanup. The Respondent will receive the property from Sacramento County and will conduct the cleanup on the County's behalf, under EPA oversight pursuant to this AOC.
