This is a Unilateral Administrative Order (UAO) pursuant to section 1431 of the SDWA issued to the U.S. Air Force, and Raytheon Company. The order concerns a migrating plume of contaminated groundwater at Raytheon's Air Force Plant 44 facility at the southern end of the Tucson International Airport Superfund site. The UAO requires Raytheon and the USAF to install and operate an advanced oxidation process system to treat solvents in the plume.
