This is a Civil Judicial Referral pursuant to CERCLA asking DOJ to file simultaneously a complaint and consent decree between the United States and the County of San Bernardino regarding the Newmark Groundwater Contamination Superfund Site. The consent decree provides for the County to pay $11 million to resolve its potential liability at the Site.
