The United Stales of America, on behalf of the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (' EPA ), filed a complaint in this matter pursuant to Section 107 CERCLA, seeking reimbursement of response costs incurred or to be incurred by the United States for response actions taken or to be taken at or in connection with the release or threatened release of hazardous substances at the Eagle Zinc Site in the City of Hillsboro, Montgomery County, Illinois.
Within 30 days of entry of this Consent Decree, TLD shall pay to the United States, on
behalf of EPA, $500,000. Within 30 days of entry of this Consent Decree, Mr. Diamond shall pay to the United States, on behalf of EPA, $250,000.
