An Administrative Order was issued to Stinchcomb Hog Farm #1 on December 5, 2007, for violating Section 301 of the Clean Water Act; specifically, the improper levels maintained in the #4 lagoon and material escaping from the discharge lines from the barns to the lagoons. This Order requires Stinchcomb Hog Farm #1 to maintain proper levels in the #4 lagoon and properly flush/maintain the discharge lines from the barns to the lagoons in order to prevent further uncontrolled releases of flushed animal waste into the environment.
