Action for recovery of EPA's removal costs at the Gould/Magic Marker Site in Trenton, NJ. Settlement provides for recovery of $285,000 of EPA's $414,000 in removal costs. Two types of wastes were remediated at the Site, lead wastes and solvent wastes. Generator of solvent wastes no longer a viable entity, so 100% recovery was not possible due to divisibility issues. Gould, Inc. (now Gould Electronic Inc.) operated at the Site form the 1947 to 1979. Ford Motor Co. operated at the Site from 1941 to 1947.
