Research Organics is a manufacturer and suppliers of biochemical for use in molecular biology, cloning and cell culture. The U.S. EPA discovered violations during an inspection conducted August 22, 2001. The violations included failure to: comply with design and installation of new tank systems or components; implement Subpart BB air emissions standards for equipment leaks; conduct weekly fire protection inspections; and mark or label containers with the word used oil . The facility was cited for the above mentioned violations and a $302,368 penalty is proposed
