The Site is a National Priorities List site located in the east-central portion of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Groundwater and soil at the Tutu Wellfield Site have been impacted by chlorinated volatile organic compounds associated with industrial and commercial dry cleaning operations at several facilities. EPA seeks recovery from the proposed Defendants of all unreimbursed response costs which have been incurred by EPA to date in connection with this site, as well as pre-judgment interest and a declaratory judgment finding the Defendants liable for the United States' future costs.
