PCB COMPLAINT FOR FAILURE TO: MARKING ACCESS TO PCB TRANSFORMER; REGISTER PCB TRANSFORMER WITH EPA; COMPILE AND MAINTAIN PCB ANNUAL DOCUMENT LOGS; AND MAINTAIN RECORDS OF ANNUAL INSPECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE HISTORY FOR ITS PCB TRANSFORMER.
CCDS: On August 23, 2001, EPA Region 2 issued a penalty Complaint against Condominium Plaza 20 for violations of TSCA for its failure to : mark the doors or means of access to its PCB Transformer with the PCB mark ML ; register its PCB Transformer with the EPA compile and maintain annual document logs on the disposition of Respondent-owned PCBs and PCB Items; and maintain annual records of visual inspections and maintenance history of its PCB Transformer, as required by 40 CFR Part 761. The proposed CA/FO includes a cash settlement of $4,500 to be paid on or before 45 calenday days after the date of signature of the Final Order, and a SEP, in which Respondent will remove and dispose of a PCB Transformer located in its Facility. Respondent will spend no less than Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) in this SEP.
