'This is an Administrative Compliance Order pursuant to CWA 402 issued to BHP Copper. The violation involves discharges of stormwater from a mining site without having submitted a NOI for coverage under the Multi Sector General Permit for industrial activitues (stormwater permit). This site has discharges of suspendes solids and copper to waters of the US. The Order directs BHP to submit its NOI, write and implement a stormwater pollution prevention plan, monitor stormwater discharges by November 15, 2002 as well as costs for compliance by December 20, 2002.'
