This facility was issued Field Citation II-UST-FC-385 for the following violations: 40 CFR 280.31(b): failure to ensure proper operation of cathodic protection system; and 40 CFR 280.40(a): failure to provide release detection. It took the facility almost a year to correct the violations because the owner needed to hire a contractor to verify the size of the USTs. All violations have now been corrected and the penalty has been paid.
