This facility is a nonmetallic mineral processing plant and quarry. The facility violated the New Source Performance Standards for nonmetallic mineral processing plants. The facility failed to provide the Administrator with written notification of the dates of construction and start up of conveyor belts, performance testing of conveyor belts, and written reports of the performance tests for the conveyor belts. The facility agreed to pay a penalty of $5,631.25 in addition to performing two Supplemental Environmental Projects. Barrett will pave 14,000 square feet of driveway and install a wheel wash at their Sylvania, Ohio facility.
