## Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) designates an existing dredged material disposal site located in the Gulf of Mexico at the mouth of Atchafalaya Bay for the continued disposal of dredged material removed from the bar channel of the Atchafalaya River and Bayous Chene, Boeuf, and Black, Louisiana. This action is necessary to provide an acceptable ocean dumping site for current and future disposal of this material. This final site designation is for an indefinite period and is subject to monitoring to insure that unacceptable adverse environmental impacts do not occur.
