## Abstract

This regulation establishes time-limited tolerances for residues of bifenthrin (2-methyl [1,1'-biphenyl]-3-yl)methyl-3-(2- chloro-3,3,3,-trifluoro-1-propenyl)-2,2- dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate) in or on grapes and peanut nutmeats. This action is in response to EPA's granting of emergency exemptions under section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act authorizing use of the pesticide on grapes and peanuts. This regulation establishes maximum permissible levels for residues of bifenthrin in these food commodities. The tolerances will expire and is revoked on December 31, 2001.
