## Abstract

EPA is approving Maryland's 111(d)/129 plan (the "plan") for the control of air pollutant emissions from hospital/medical/infectious waste incinerators (HMIWIs). The plan was developed and submitted to EPA by the Maryland Department of the Environment, Air and Radiation Management Administration (MARMA), on April 14, 2000. EPA is publishing this approval action without prior proposal because we view this as a noncontroversial action and anticipate no adverse comments.
