## Abstract

This regulation establishes time-limited tolerances for combined residues of sulfentrazone N-[2,4-dichloro-5-[4- (difluoromethyl)-4,5-dihydro-3-methyl-5-oxo-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1- yl]phenyl]methanesulfonamide and its major metabolite 3-hydroxymethyl sulfentrazone N-[2,4-dichloro-5-[4-(difluoromethyl)-4,5-dihydro-3- hydroxymethyl-5-oxo-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl]phenyl]methanesulfonamide in or on horseradish and sugarcane. This action is in response to EPA's granting of emergency exemptions under section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act authorizing use of the pesticide on horseradish and sugarcane. This regulation establishes a maximum permissible level for combined residues of sulfentrazone in these food commodities. The tolerances will expire and are revoked on December 31, 2002.
