## Abstract

On May 21, 1999, Illinois submitted a site-specific sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>) State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision request for the Central Illinois Light Company's Edwards Generating Station in Peoria County, Illinois. The requested revision provides for a temporary relaxation in the fuel quality limit for one of the facility's three boilers, but adds an overall daily sulfur dioxide emission cap for the three boilers. The State's submittal included dispersion modeling results which indicated that the revision will not cause violations of the SO<INF>2</INF> standards. EPA is approving this request.
