## Abstract

The EPA is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of New York on August 30, 1999. That revision removes New York's oxygenated gasoline program as a carbon monoxide control measure from the State's SIP. EPA is approving that revision because EPA has also determined that the New York--Northern New Jersey--Long Island carbon monoxide nonattainment area has attained the carbon monoxide National Ambient Air Quality Standards.
