## Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approves the Sections 111(d)/129 State Plan submitted by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) on August 23, 2000. This State Plan is for implementing and enforcing provisions at least as protective as the Emissions Guidelines (EGs) applicable to existing Hospital/Medical/ Infectious Waste Incinerators (HMIWIs) for which construction commenced on or before June 20, 1996.
