## Abstract

EPA is taking direct final action on a revision to the State of Maryland State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted on January 4, 2001 by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE). This revision repeals the requirements for petroleum refineries in the State of Maryland. There are no petroleum refineries located in the State of Maryland. EPA is approving this SIP in accordance with the requirements of the Clean Air Act.
