## Abstract

EPA is taking direct final action to approve a revision to the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District (MBUAPCD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). This revision concerns the control of emissions from Oxides of Nitrogen ( NO<INF>X</INF>) and sulfur compounds. We are approving a local rule that regulates these emissions under the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act).
