## Abstract

EPA has determined that the Wallula nonattainment area has not attained the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than or equal to 10 microns by the attainment date of December 31, 1997, as required by the Clean Air Act. EPA's finding is based on EPA's review of monitored air quality data reported for the years 1995 through 2000. As a result of this finding, the Wallula PM-10 nonattainment area will be reclassified by operation of law as a serious PM-10 nonattainment area.
