## Abstract

The EPA is taking direct final action approving the Texas 111(d) Plan submitted by the Governor of Texas on June 2, 2000, to implement and enforce the Emissions Guidelines (EG) for existing Hospital/Medical/Infectious Waste Incinerators (HMIWI). The EG requires States to develop plans to reduce toxic air emissions from all HMIWIs. This action also corrects an error in the list of designated facilities in the identification of the Texas 111(d) plan.
