## Abstract

EPA is announcing it is approving the State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the state of Missouri which provides for the attainment and maintenance of the sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>) National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) in Springfield (Greene County), Missouri. This revision approves a Consent Agreement which requires SO<INF>2</INF> emission reductions from a major air emissions source in Springfield. Approval of this SIP revision will make the Consent Agreement Federally enforceable.
