## Abstract

EPA is taking direct final action to approve a revision to the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District (MBUAPCD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). This revision concerns oxides of nitrogen (NO<INF>X</INF>) emissions from electric power boilers. We are approving the local rule that regulates these emission sources under the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act).
