## Abstract

Based on a proposed approval of revisions to the California State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the San Francisco Bay Area ozone nonattainment area, published elsewhere in today's Federal Register, EPA is making an interim final determination that California has corrected the deficiencies for which a sanctions clock began on October 22, 2001. This action will stay the imposition of the offset sanctions and defer the imposition of the highway sanction.
