## Abstract

EPA is redesignating Lake County, Indiana, to attainment for particulate matter with a nominal aerodynamic diameter of 10 microns or less (PM<INF>10</INF>). EPA also approves Indiana's plan for continuing to attain the PM<INF>10</INF> standards. Indiana requested these actions on September 25, 2002. In taking this action, EPA concludes that this area is meeting the national standards for PM<INF>10</INF> and has acceptable plans for assuring continued attainment.
