## Abstract

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the pelargonic acid in or on all foods when applied used as a component of a food contact surface sanitizing solution in food handling establishments. Eco Lab Inc. requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (FQPA).
