## Abstract

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the Bacillus pumilus strain QST 2808 in or on food commodities when applied/used in accordance with label directions. AgraQuest, Inc submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (FQPA), requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. Notification that EPA had received the petition was published on May 5, 2004 (69 FR 25092) (FRL-7354-4). This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of Bacillus pumilus strain QST2808.
