## Abstract

This regulation establishes time-limited tolerances for combined residues of hexythiazox (trans-5-(4-chlorophenyl)-N- cyclohexyl-4-methyl-2-oxothiazolidine-3-carboxamide) and its metabolites containing the (4-chlorophenyl)-4-methyl-2-oxo-3- thiazolidine moiety in or on field corn grain, stover, and fodder. This action is in response to EPA's granting of an emergency exemption under section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) authorizing use of the pesticide on field corn. This regulation establishes maximum permissible levels for residues of hexythiazox in these food commodities. The tolerances will expire and are revoked on December 31, 2007.
