## Abstract

EPA is adding a new section to part 180 to list the pesticide chemicals that are exempt from the requirement of a tolerance when used in food-contact surface sanitizing solutions. This list of exempt pesticide chemicals is duplicated from the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) regulations in 21 CFR 178.1010. For some of these chemical substances, EPA's list will use naming conventions differing from those used by FDA. Additionally, EPA is redesignating/ reorganizing Sec. 180.1001. This section of CFR will be split into five separate sections with no changes in text or content.
