## Abstract

EPA is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Maine. This revision establishes requirements to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides (NO<INF>X</INF>), sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>), particulate matter (PM), and carbon monoxide (CO) from smaller-scale electric generating units. The intended effect of this action is to approve these requirements into the Maine SIP. EPA is taking this action in accordance with the Clean Air Act (CAA).
