## Abstract

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of tetraethoxysilane, polymer with hexamethyldisiloxane, minimum number average molecular weight (in AMU) 2,500 (CAS Reg. No. 104133-09-7) when used as an inert ingredient in a pesticide chemical formulation under 40 CFR 180.960. Wacker Chemical Corporation submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of tetraethoxysilane, polymer with hexamethyldisiloxane, on food or feed commodities.
