## Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is taking direct final action to approve revisions to the California State Implementation Plan (SIP) concerning emissions inventories for the 2006 24-hour fine particle National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for the San Francisco Bay Area and Chico PM<INF>2.5</INF> nonattainment areas. We are approving these emissions inventories under the Clean Air Act (CAA or the Act).
