## Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is taking direct final action to approve revisions to the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions concern criteria air pollutants including oxides of nitrogen (NO<INF>X</INF>) and particulate matter (PM) emissions from boilers, steam generators, and process heaters. We are approving local rules that regulate these emission sources under the Clean Air Act (CAA or the Act).
